Sierra Morgan Rush and Austin Lamar Knight were united in marriage at 3 p.m. April 30, 2017, at Westminster church in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Rhett and Vicki Rush of Lula. The groom is the son of Jeff and Regina Knight of Gillsville.

Minister Chris Porter performed the ceremony with assistance from the bride’s uncle and minister Kale Rush. Violinist Alyssa Roberson presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride’s friend Briana DeLay of Demorest was matron of honor. The bride’s friend Taylor Anderson of Gillsville maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s friends Megan Ward of Commerce, Abby Spencer of Commerce, Miranda Merritt of Gainesville and Melissa Satterfield of Gillsville. The bride’s family friend Ella Langford of Homer was the flower girl.

The groom’s friend Jacob Yonce of Gillsville was the best man. Groomsmen were the bride’s brother Beau Rush of Lula and the groom’s friends Jerrod Rogers of Gainesville, Issac Salazar of Lula, Matthew Gee of Gainesville and Wyatt Neece of Gainesville. The groom’s brother Cody Knight of Gillsville was the ring bearer.

The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Mellow Mushroom in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.

The bride’s parents gave a reception at Westminster fellowship hall in Gainesville following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Savannah and Tybee Island, the couple reside in Commerce.
