Courtney Elaina Reece and Joseph Ryan Chambers were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 1, 2007, at Grove Level Baptist Church in Maysville. The bride is the daughter of Freddie and Kay Reece of Gillsville. The groom is the son of Walter and Kate Chambers Jr. of Gainesville.

The Rev. John Kinsey performed the ceremony. Vocalists Abby Ayers and Kenneth Hulsey presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride’s sister-in-law Annie Reece of Gillsville was matron of honor. The bride’s friend Ashley Carpenter of Lula was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s cousin Sandy Crenshaw of Gillsville and the bride’s friends Megan Chambers of Murrayville and Misty Smith of Lula. The bride’s niece Chloe Reece of Gillsville and the groom’s cousin Amber Ray of Gainesville were the flower girls.

The groom’s father was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s brother Dustin Chambers of Murrayville, the bride’s brother Brandon Reece of Gillsville, the groom’s cousin Justin Irvin of Gainesville and the groom’s friend Mark Seabolt of Clermont. The bride’s friend Isaac Purdy was the ring bearer.

The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner at the church on the eve of the wedding.

The bride’s parents gave a reception at the church following the ceremony. Rose Griffin was program attendant. Heather Reece and Ashley Armour were the wedding coordinators.Jennifer Reece kept the bride’s book.

Following a wedding trip to The Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Gainesville.
