Amy and Clark Leonard

Amy Caroline Kelley and Clark David Leonard were united in marriage at 5 p.m. March 5, 2016, at the Cornelia Community House. The bride is the daughter of Ron and Kathy Kelley of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Debra Clark and David Leonard of Raleigh, N.C.

Tom Smiley, senior pastor of Lakewood Baptist Church, performed the ceremony. Christa Gaudinier, David Funk and Zachary Funk presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride’s sister Kristi Gilleland of Athens was matron of honor. Bridesmaids included the bride’s friends BreAnna Brown of Gainesville, Kristen White of Gainesville, Kelly Reed of Baltimore, Md., and the groom’s sister Alexandra Leonard of Raleigh, N.C. The bride’s friends Kate and Sara Everett and Carolynn and Aubree Brown were the flower girls.

The groom’s father David Leonard of Raleigh, N.C., was the best man. Groomsmen included the groom’s friends Matt Smeltzer of Winder, Josh Everett of Gainesville, Tim Carroll of Atlanta, and the groom’s cousin Luke Roberts of Cartersville. Ushers were the groom’s cousins Jeremy Evans, Jason Evans, Jake Roberts and the couple’s friend Jacob Funk.

Liz Shelnutt was the florist and wedding coordinator, and Sue Smith assisted with decorations.

The groom’s family gave a rehearsal dinner at 2 Dog Restaurant in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.

Following a honeymoon to Washington state, the couple will reside in Gainesville.
