Ashley and Roger Pearson

Ashley Danielle Freeman and Roger Henry Pearson were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Sept. 8, 2007, at The Cavender Castle in Dahlonega. The bride is the daughter of Tori Freeman of Gainesville and Danny and Beverly Freeman of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Roxanne Ellis of Gainesville.

The Rev. Billy Poole performed the ceremony.

The bride was presented in marriage by her parents. The bride's friend Sunshine Waters of Jefferson was matron of honor. The bride's sister Amberly Freeman of Gainesville was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Marilyn Tô and Cara Thomas, both of Gainesville, and Melissa Anderson of Athens. The bride's friend's daughter Maycie Edwards of Warner Robins was the flower girl.

The groom's brother Erik Ellis of Gainesville was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's friends Justin Brown, Jason Hulsey and Ben Hamby, all of Gainesville, and John Langford of Dahlonega. The bride's nephew Mac Burell of Gainesville was the ring bearer. Cindy Durham was the wedding coordinator. Robert and Linda Jolley assisted.

The groom's family gave a rehearsal dinner at Luna's Restaurant in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at The Cavender Castle following the ceremony.

Following a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple reside in Lula.
