Paula Adams Free and Claiborn Thomas Harris were united in marriage Oct. 21, 2007, at Miles Wilson Matthews Chapel Church in Maysville. The bride is the daughter of the late Mae Dee Bell Adams and the late Dr. J.K. Adams. The groom is the son of the late Claiborn L. and Doris Langford Harris.

The bride was presented in marriage by her sons Jason Waters and Brandon Waters, both of Jefferson. Bridesmaids were the bride’s sister Patricia Hayes of Hoschton and friend Connie Love of Pendergrass.

Groomsmen were the groom’s friend Mark Eaton of Houston and the groom’s nephew Clay Gooch of Pendergrass.

An outdoor reception was held at the Hurricane Shoals Park Museum and Conference Center. The Southern Gents provided wedding and reception music. Florine and R.L. Griffeth, Charlotte Gooch and Shirley Jamison were servers. Homemade ice cream was provided by Ted and Janice Maddox.

Following a wedding trip to Callaway Gardens, the couple resides in Jefferson.
