Georgia Leigh Fielding and Jack McGowan Johnson Jr. were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Aug. 18, 2007, at Gainesville First Baptist Church in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Jim and Jo Fielding of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Jack and Teri Johnson Sr. of Auburn, Ala.

The Rev. Bobby Hall performed the ceremony. Pianist Della Ruth Johnson and vocalist Becca Chumbley presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her parents. The bride's sister Ashley Kean of Snellville was matron of honor. The bride's friend Lauren Lashlee of Birmingham, Ala.; was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's sisters-in-law Jennifer Johnson of Auburn and Mandy Fielding of Fultondale, Ala., the bride's friends Maria Ledford of Gainesville; Jana Davis of Gulf Shores, Ala.; and Cori Willaims of Birmingham. The bride's nieces Josephine and Mikayla Kean of Snellville were the flower girls.

The groom's father Jack Johnson Sr. and brother Michael Johnson, both of Auburn, were the best men. Groomsmen were the groom's friend Brandon Harris of Montgomery , Ala.; the groom's brothers-in-law Luke Fielding of Fultondale and Jason Kean of Snellville; and the groom's friends Baker Davis of Gulf Shores, and Greg Arrington and Jason Pruitt, both of LaGrange. The bride's nephew Jackson Fielding of Fultondale was the ring bearer.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Luna's in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at the Elk's Lodge in Gainesville following the ceremony. Browne and Katherine Allen, Verl and Evelyn Fielding, Charlene Johnson and Edna Sherrell assisted. Ashley Hall was the wedding coordinator.
Ally Johnson kept the bride's book.

Following a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii the couple resides in Duluth.
