Leigh Richardson Field and JB Harris were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Oct. 20, 2007, on the beach at the Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort in Hilton Head Island, S.C. The bride is the daughter of Wade and Roz Richardson Jr. of Aiken, S.C., and Buster and Marie Hair of Aiken. The groom is the son of Joyce and Sherman Salyers of Pendergrass and Ora and Marvin Harris Jr. of Gainesville.

The Rev. Gail Fenton performed the ceremony. Violinist David Kimbell presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her daughters Sloan and Cori Field. The bride’s sister Dana Arbaugh of North Augusta, S.C., was matron of honor. The bride’s daughter Sloan Field of Evans was maid of honor. The bride’s daughter Cori Field of Evans and the groom’s daughter Amber Harris of Gainesville were the flower girls.

The groom’s father was the best man. Groomsmen were the bride’s brother-in-law Mark Arbaugh of North Augusta and the groom’s brother Timmy Lee of Pendergrass. The bride’s niece Caylin Arbaugh of North Augusta was the ring bearer.

The bride and groom gave a rehearsal party at Steamer’s Seafood in Hilton Head on the eve of the wedding.

The bride and groom gave a reception dinner at the Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort in Hilton Head following the ceremony.

Following a wedding trip to Sandals Resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple resides in Evans.
