Natalie René Chambers and John Christopher Millican were united in marriage at 6 p.m. April 28, 2007, at Bona Allen Mansion in Buford. The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Nikki Chambers of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Bill and Patricia Kilpatrick of Gainesville and Kenneth and Deanne Millican of Oklahoma.

The Rev. Dwight Oakes performed the ceremony. Vocalist Kristen Miller and musicians Amedeus String Ensemble and The Dueling Pianos presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her parents. The bride’s friend Josie Rock of Cleveland was matron of honor. The bride’s friend Suzanne Bullard of Gainesville was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s friends Megan Oliver and Michelle Willis, both of Demorest, the groom’s sister Stacy Slay of Marietta, the bride’s friend Colleen Nixon of Gainesville, the bride’s cousins Mallory Brock of Flowery Branch and Sara Chambers of Marietta. The groom’s friend Sarah Akins of Murrayville was the flower girl.

The groom’s friend Brandon Morgan of Gainesville was the best man. Groomsmen were the bride’s brother Kyle Chambers of Gainesville, the groom’s brother Ken Millican of Clermont, the groom’s friends Matt Smith of Gainesville, Ben Hawkins of Buford, Nathan Stephens of Lawrenceville, Jason Yarborough of Pensacola, Fla., and Zach Mendence of Rome. The groom’s nephew Sebastian Millican of Clermont was the ring bearer.

The bride wore a pearl necklace given to her by the groom, a diamond and pearl broach from her grandmother and crystal earrings from her mother.

The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner at 99 in Buford on the eve of the wedding.

The bride’s parents gave a reception at the Bona Allen Mansion in Buford following the ceremony. Gabrielle and Jacob Autry were attendants. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Vandiver gave a prayer and Eddie Slay gave a reading. Robin Wernz was the wedding coordinator.Gabrielle Autry kept the bride’s book.

Following a wedding trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the couple resides in Hoschton.
