Charles and Lori Clarke

Lori Renee Cato and Charles Joseph "C.J." Clarke IV were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. June 11, 2011, at The Thompson House and Gardens in Bogart. The bride is the daughter of Ed and Judy Cato of Hoschton. The groom is the son of Kay Clarke of Monticello, Iowa and Charles Clarke III of Gainesville.

The Rev. Sam Mixon performed the ceremony.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father.

The bride's sister Carla Cato of Cumming was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Amber Kent of Gainesville and Natalie Zimmerman of Athens, the groom's sisters Tiffany Clarke of Tampa, Fla., and Tamara Clarke of Gainesville. The couple's friends Charolette Zimmerson and Mary Maddox Greene were the flower girls.

The groom's brother Joey Clarke of Santa Barbara, Calif., was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's father, the groom's friends Torrey Liddell and Adam Bowman, both of New York City, N.Y., Adam Studebaker of Tipp City, Ohio, Alex Greene of Athens and Chris Aloi of Gainesville.

Jesse Patton was the wedding coordinator. Lisa Robinson kept the bride's book.

The bride carried a handkerchief given to her by her late uncle and released butterflies as a remembrance of their proposal.

The groom's father gave a rehearsal dinner at his residence on Lake Lanier in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at The Thompson House and Gardens in Bogart following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon cruise to Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk and the Bahamas, the couple reside in Jefferson.
