Natalie M. Andersen and George “Trey” L. Jarvis III were united in marriage at 6 p.m. June 16, 2007, at Waters Mill in Dahlonega. The bride is the daughter of Maya and Douglas Andersen of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Marcia and George Jarvis Jr. of Gainesville.
The Rev. Dr. Bart McMillan performed the ceremony. Vocalist John Simpson and the Allegro Strings presented a program of wedding music.
The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride’s cousin Maya Brice of Dacula was matron of honor. The bride’s friend Emilee Kemp of Gainesville was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s friend Ashley Moore of Gainesville, the groom’s sister Jennifer Chamblee of Cleveland, the couple’s friend Julie Truelove of Gainesville, and Laura Vijandi of Alpharetta. The bride’s friend Brook Dean of Gainesville was the flower girl.
The groom’s father was the best man. Groomsmen were the bride’s brother Taylor Andersen of Gainesville, the groom’s brother-in-law Russ Chamblee of Cleveland, the couple’s friend David Truelove of Gainesville, and the groom’s cousins Brian Jarvis of Buford and Will Merritt of Clermont. The couple’s friend Will Grant of Gainesville and the bride’s cousin Mack Brice Jr., were the ring bearers. Matt Merritt was an usher.
Amanda Merritt kept the bride’s book.
The bride wore a diamond ring and necklace given to her by the groom, pearl earrings and bracelet given to her by her parents, and she carried her grandmother’s wedding bands and a piece of her mother-in-law’s wedding dress in her bouquet.
The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Amicalola Falls Lodge in Dawsonville on the eve of the wedding.
The bride’s parents gave a reception at Waters Mill in Dahlonega following the ceremony.
Following a wedding trip to Destin, Fla., the couple resides in Gainesville.
