Six students from World Language Academy Elementary and the bus driver were transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville after a wreck, according to school officials.

Miss Christine Elizabeth Sage and Mr. Joshua David Bristow were united in marriage at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 6, 2017, at Juliette Chapel in Dahlonega. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Lisa and Mr. Norman Sage of Flowery Branch. The groom is the son of Mrs. Anne and Mr. Bob Bristow of Walnut Grove, Mo.

The Rev. Willie Woodmore performed the ceremony. 

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride’s sister Miss Cassandra Sage of Atlanta was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s friends Miss Hannah Jarrells of Oakwood, Miss Whitney Firth of Macon and Miss Jantsen McBride of Kansas City, Mo. 

The groom’s friend Mr. Corie Wilkins of Chicago, Ill., was the best man. Groomsmen were the bride’s brother Mr. Daniel Sage of Atlanta, the groom’s brothers Mr. Daniel Bristow of Columbia, Mo., Mr. Tim Bristow of Marietta and Mr. Robbie Hudspeth of Kansas City, Mo., and the groom’s friend Mr. Tyler Williams of St. Louis, Mo.  

The bride wore her mother’s diamond earrings and a custom diamond necklace that was a gift from the groom’s mother.

The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner at The Smith House in Dahlonega on the eve of the wedding.

The bride’s parents gave a reception at the banquet hall of Juliette Chapel in Dahlonega following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to the United Kingdom, the couple reside in Decatur.
