Three of Esther Safford’s favorite glass disks are on display in her Lanier Village Estates apartment. The center plate, made for her granddaughter, resembles the CBS Sunday Morning television show logo as well as Picasso’s series of “Poor Robbie” drawings. Safford lets each glass project dictate where the design ends up, she said. - photo by NAT GURLEY
Esther Safford dug through a small box of broken glass in her studio at Lanier Village Estates looking for pieces she could use in her art.
