Matthew Charles Sneed

Pfc. Matthew Charles Sneed recently graduated from Advance Individual Training at the Defense Information School, Fort Meade, Md. Sneed completed the Basic Television Equipment Maintenance Course, affiliated with the U.S. Army Signal Corps.

This course taught broadcast television fundamentals, and the operation, maintenance, and repair of broadcast studio equipment to include monitors and receivers, computer embedded systems, IT networks, video camera systems, video tape recorders, audio and radio systems. PFC Sneed received instruction in television studio principles and transmission systems to include over-the-air AM, FM and TV systems, as well as cable high-end systems, microwave, satellite, and tech control procedures.

Sneed wll now attend Airborne Training at Fort Benning, and will then be assigned to Fort Bragg, N.C.

Sneed is the grandson of Joel M. Sneed of Flowery Branch, who is a U.S. Army veteran as an officer in the Corps of Engineers, and the son of Sgt. 1st Class Brian B. Sneed, who is currently serving with the Tennessee National Guard.
