Army Spec. Christopher L. Routh has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, map reading and field tactics.
He is the son of Gary George of Flowery Branch.
Routh graduated in 2001 from West Hall High School in Oakwood and received a bachelor’s degree in 2005 from the Citadel Military College of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C.
