Jefferson Elementary School and the musical group Beatin' Path recently kicked off the school year with a community drum circle. The hands-on music making and interactive performance aimed to foster cultural appreciation, teamwork and community spirit.

Each participant was given a musical instrument and guided through a series of games and interactions, and many parents joined in with their children for the activities on the school's front lawn.
