Enota Multiple Intelligences Academy recently honored its students who participated in the Hall County Library Summer Reading Program. Students were treated to a doughnut party in the media center with principal Sally Meadors. Niki Borders of the Hall County Library System also attended. Borders worked in the spring to encourage Enota prekindergartners through third-graders to participate in the library program.

Michael P. White, illustrator of The Library Dragon, recently visited Chicopee Woods Elementary School. Michael spent the day working with the students, teaching them how one idea can create a story and showing them how to illustrate it.

McEver Elementary School students from Sabrina Waters’ fifth-grade class recently made Christmas cards for U.S. troops serving in Iraq. The cards were created by the students at the request of Hall County Sheriff Steve Cronic as part of the ADVANCE program.Michael P.
