GCSA students decorate the Chicopee Woods Agricultural Center on Oct. 24 for the Special Olympics Halloween Jam.

Victoria Rogers, a student at North Hall Middle School, is the Hall County winner in the sixth annual water conservation and preservation essay contest, sponsored by the Clean Water Campaign and the Water Use It Wisely Campaign. For the contest, students researched and shared their thoughts on why conserving water and preventing water pollution are important for the future of their river, lakes and streams.

Abigail Cieslukowski was awarded the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families General Equivalency Diploma Student of the Year Award at the GED Awards Luncheon Nov. 1 in Atlanta. Cieslukowski was chosen as the single winner from all the other statewide applicants.
