More than 2,000 Future Business Leaders of America members and advisers recently gathered in Athens, including 12 members of the Flowery Branch High School FBLA team.

The conference included workshops, a scholarship raffle and a Monopoly tournament benefitting the March of Dimes.

Justin Twiggs placed second in Accounting and Derrick Durham and Nicki Price placed third for FBLA Community Placemat Design Contest.

Nineteen students will be competing at Region Leadership Conference this month to represent Flowery Branch High School.

Svitlana Muzychenko of Cumming and Tracy L. Moulder of Alto have recently graduated from Excelsior College in Albany, N.Y.

Christina Leanella Montrois of Gainesville has been included in the 2010 edition of "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges."

She is a graduate of Gainesville High School and the daughter of David Montrois of Gainesville.
