Dana Marie Basso of Hoschton was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force on May 8 at Clemson University’s Tillman Hall Auditorium. Basso is a psychology major at Clemson. Following the commissioning ceremony, the new lieutenants participated in a Silver Dollar Salute ceremony at Military Heritage Plaza.
