Rebecca Gurr

Rebecca Gurr was honored as she retired from the board of Center Point after 20 years of service.

A reception for her was Nov. 6 at the home of Margie Braff. Former board members, faculty and friends expressed their love and appreciation for her commitment to the vision and mission of the Center (formerly the Christian Education Center) as well as for her involvement with children.

One of her concerns throughout the years was finding money to invest in special educational needs of the Center. For this purpose, the board established the Rebecca Gurr Education Fund. Donations in her honor can be made directly to Center Point with the notation Rebecca Gurr Education Fund.
