Robert Stephen and Susan Wright of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Mary Allyson Wright to Marshall Glenn Yeomans Jr. son of Tammy and James Michael Allen of Ludowici and Marshall Glenn Yeomans Sr. of Jesup.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lovella P. Veasey of Dalton and the late Raymond Booth Veasey Jr., Patricia B. Gowder of Gainesville and the late Earl F. Gowder, and the late Talmedge Eugene Wright.

She is a 2002 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2007 from Georgia Southern University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse with East Georgia Regional Hospital in Statesboro. She is a member of Kappa Delta sorority.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mary Jo Yeomans of Jesup and the late Maxie Aaron Yeomans, Joyce Leonia Calvert of Ludowici and the late James C. Calvert, and Sydney Dean and Susan Horton of Shellman’s Bluff.

He is a 2004 graduate of Georgia Southern University in Statesboro. He is co-owner of Allen & Yeomans Construction Co. in Ludowici. He is a member of Sigma Chi fraternity.

The couple plans to wed July 19, 2008, at Gainesville First United Methodist Church.
