Darryl and Beverly Womack of Lula announce the engagement of their daughter Samantha Rene Womack to Jordan Griffin Dunagan, son of Cheryl Dunagan of Gillsville and the late Steve Dunagan.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Harold and Louise Crisp and Louise Womack, all of Franklin, N.C., and the late Jack Womack.

She is a 2005 graduate of East Hall High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2007 from Lanier Technical College with a degree in cosmetology. She is employed as a cosmetologist with The Downtown Salon in Lula. She is a member of Airline Baptist Church.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Lois Griffin of Gillsville and the late Ernest Griffin.

He is a 1999 graduate of East Hall High School in Gainesville. He attended Gainesville College in Oakwood.

The couple plan an open-church wedding for 2 p.m. Aug. 23, 2008, at Airline Baptist Church in Gainesville.
