Ellenor Ann Unverzagt of Gainesville and Robert Edward Leventha of Gainesville announce their engagement.

The bride-elect is a 1942 graduate of Anderson High School in Cincinnati. She graduated in 1946 from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She is retired from the U.S. Forestry Service.

The groom-elect is a 1943 graduate of Attleboro High School in Attleboro, Mass. He graduated in 1951 from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Mass., with a bachelor's degree in poultry sciences. He received a master's degree at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, N.H., in avian pathology. He is retired from Riverside Military Academy and is a veteran of World War II, having served in the airborne infantry.

The couple plan to wed Feb. 14, 2009.
