Tracy and Thelma Hughes O'Shields of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Elizabeth Hughes Truelove to William David Adams, son of Jerry and Cynthia London of Cleveland and David and Jackie Adams of Snellville. The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Jake Hughes.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late George and Carrie Rice and the late Hubert and Era Hughes.

She is a 1993 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. She is employed as a certified nursing assistant with Private Duty Nursing in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Martha London of Cleveland, the late Robert London, Iris Newell of Dacula and the late Clarence Newell.

He attended Dacula High School in Dacula. He is employed as a truck driver with Decker Truck Line in Fort Dodge , Iowa.

The couple plan to wed June 2, 2012, at Dacula Church of God in Dacula.
