Mona E. Thomason of Gainesville announces the engagement of her daughter Ashley Nicole Thomason to Christopher Dale Wilson, son of Dale and Becky Wilson of Buford. The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Charlie Thomason.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Janis Drinnen of Sulphur, La., and the late Elize Thomason.

She is a 2005 graduate of West Hall High School in Oakwood. She is pursuing a bachelor's degree in nursing from Gainesville State College in Oakwood. She is employed as an administrative assistant with Friendship Learning Academy in Buford.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Patricia Wilson of Commerce and Lorine Langston of Winder.

He is a 2004 graduate of Flowery Branch High School in Flowery Branch. He is employed as a surveyor with the City of Atlanta.

The couple plan to wed April 25, 2009, at the Braselton Stover House in Braselton.
