George R. and Mary Jane Taylor of Murrayville announce the engagement of their daughter Rachel Marie Taylor to Lee Thomas Bembry, son of Sandra L. Bembry of Perry and the late Benjamin Thomas Bembry.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Hugh L. Taylor of Vidalia, the late Betty J. Taylor and the late Bob and Mary Jane Bender.

She is a 2002 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2006 from Valdosta State University in Valdosta with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance. She is employed as an accountant with Bates, Carter & Company in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Louise Bembry of Perry, the late Robert Bembry and the late Loraine and Walter Morton.

He is a 1998 graduate of Perry High School in Perry. He is attending Gwinnett Technical College in Lawrenceville. He is employed as an automotive service excellence technician with Rick Hendrick Chevrolet in Buford.

The couple plan to wed May 1, 2010, at First Presbyterian Church in Gainesville.
