Jerry and Nancy Smith of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Allison Haley Smith to Dwayne Thomas Lee, son of Tommy and Charlotte Lee of Flowery Branch.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jane Smith of Canton, the late Leon Smith and the late Carl and Wynell Harbin.

She is a 2002 graduate of West Hall High School in Oakwood. She graduated in 2006 from North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She will be pursuing a master’s degree in occupational therapy at Brenau University in Gainesville. She is employed by Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville. She is a member of Chicopee Baptist Church.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Lois Phillips of Flowery Branch, the late Hoyt Phillips and the late Norman and Nellie Lee.

He is a 2000 graduate of Johnson High School in Gainesville. He is employed by Industrial and Commercial Services in Homer. He is a member of Chicopee Baptist Church.

The couple plans to wed May 17, 2008, at Chicopee Baptist Church in Gainesville.
