Jeff and Darlene Sheridan of Braselton announce the engagement of their daughter Susan Amanda Sheridan to Andrew Mahlon Conner, son of Scott and Kim Conner of Flowery Branch.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Fred and Betty Sue Cochran of Flowery Branch, Dennis and Goldie Jones of Flint, Mich., and Joe and Doris Sheridan of Rapid River, Mich.

She is a 2006 graduate of Flowery Branch High School in Flowery Branch. She is attending Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw pursuing a degree in early childhood education. She is a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Jenny Smith of Oakwood, Owen and Mary Lou Conner of Murrayville and the late Mahlon Smith.

He is a 2002 graduate of West Hall High School in Oakwood. He graduated in 2007 from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta with a bachelor's degree in computer engineering. He is employed as an engineer with Echostar in Dunwoody. He is a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Flowery Branch.

The couple plans to wed June 14, 2008, at Zion Hill Baptist Church.
