She is a 1990 graduate of Lumpkin County High School in Dahlonega. She is employed as a sales representative with Windstream in Dahlonega.

He is a 1992 graduate of White County High School in Cleveland. He is employed with Long Mountain Resources in Cleveland.

The couple plans to wed Nov. 8, 2008, at Forest Hills Resort in Dahlonega.
