Mr. and Mrs. James Rotton announce the engagement of their daughter Miss Holley Michelle Rotton to Mr. Joshua Walter Adams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wade of Demorest and the late Mr. James Edward Adams.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Lamb of Metter, Mrs. Tommie Powell of East Dublin, and the late Mr. Louie Rotton.

She is a 1999 graduate of Metter High School in Metter. She graduated in 2003 from Brenau University with a bachelor's degree in nursing and is a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. She is employed with Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. Paris William Whitworth of Clarkesville, the late Mr. and Mrs. John Jewel Adams and the late Mrs. Elizabeth Whitworth.

He is a 1997 graduate of Habersham Central High School in Mount Airy. He is employed with the Gainesville Police Department.

The couple plan to wed Oct. 25, 2008.
