Ricky and Patti Reeves of Alto announce the engagement of their daughter Amanda Shannon Reeves to Joshua Lee Crocker, son of Terry and Vicki Crocker of Lula.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Louis and Louise Reeves of Alto and the late Cecil and Virginia Irvin.

She is a 2003 graduate of Habersham Central High School in Cornelia. She graduated in 2008 from Gainesville State College in Oakwood with an associate degree in general studies. She is employed as a receptionist with Dermatology Associates in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Foyle and Brooksy White of Lula and Virgil Crocker and Ann Moore, both of Alto.

He is a 2002 graduate of Banks County High School in Homer. He graduated in 2003 from Gwinnett Technical College with a degree in diesel equipment technology. He is the owner of Country's Tractor and Farming Service in Lula.

The couple plan to wed July 9, 2011, at Rock Springs Baptist Church in Lula.
