Jack and Carol Mouring of Spring, Texas, announce the engagement of their daughter Sarah Catherine Mouring to Zachary Ray Landers, son of John and Caro Landers of Gainesville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Margurite Mouring of Dothan, Ala., the late Jack Judson Mouring and the late Russell and Nell Cruze.

She is a 1999 graduate of Klein Oak High School in Spring, Texas. She graduated in 2004 from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology and nutrition. She is employed as a physical education teacher with Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District in Houston, Texas. She is the volleyball and basketball coach, department chairwoman and a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Martha Barker Tranter, the late Charles Clyde Henning and the late John and Mary Landers.

He is a 1998 graduate of Lakeview Academy in Gainesville. He attended the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Miss., and North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega. He is employed as a sales account executive with Correct Credit Solutions in Houston, Texas.

The couple plans an open-church wedding for 5 p.m. Aug. 2, 2008, at First Baptist Church in Tomball, Texas.
