Sheila Durden Moulder of Flowery Branch and Lamar Moulder of Clarkesville announce the engagement of their daughter Katie Elizabeth Moulder to Jeff Allen Burkhalter, son of Melody and Dana Burkhalter Sr. of Buford.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dorothy and Vernon Durden of Loganville, Juanita Moulder of Clermont and Hollis Moulder of Lilburn.

She is a 2003 graduate of West Hall High School in Oakwood. She graduated in 2007 from Gainesville State College in Oakwood with an associate's degree in fine art. She is pursuing a bachelor's degree at the Art Institute of Atlanta in Atlanta in interior design. She is employed as an administration assistant with Honda Mall of Georgia in Buford.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Margaret and W.G. Burkhalter of Rome and John Fisher of Warner Robins.

He is a 2001 graduate of West Hall High School in Oakwood. He graduated from Gwinnett Technical College in Lawrenceville with a degree in automotive technology. He is employed as an automotive technician with Honda Mall of Georgia in Buford.

The couple plans to wed May 10, 2009, at Stone Mountain Park in Stone Mountain.
