Stanley and Wanda Morris of Alto announce the engagement of their daughter Amanda Rose Morris to Casey Wayne Murray, son of Wayne and Carolyn Murray of Lula.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Sam and Lucy Ragan of Cornelia, Martha Morris of Alto and the late W.S. Morris.

She is a 2002 graduate of Habersham Central High School in Cornelia. She graduated in 2006 from North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She is employed as a nurse tech with Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of J.D. Pritchett of Lula, the late Annie Sue Pritchett and the late Guy and Ruby Murray.

He is a 2001 graduate of Banks County High School in Homer. He graduated in 2007 from North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is employed as a route manager with TruGreen ChemLawn in Cumming.

The couple plans to wed Feb. 16, 2008, at Gethsemne Baptist Church in Cornelia.
