Teresa and Dan Parker of Anderson, S.C., and James Gary Mulkey of Commerce announce the engagement of their daughter Kelley René Moore to Joshua Ray McDougald, son of Evelyn and Jacky McDougald of Oakwood.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Shirley McAdams of Lawrenceville, Leonard Queen of Atlanta, and Bonnel and James Mulkey of Canton.

She is a 2005 graduate of West Hall High School in Oakwood. She is pursing a degree from Lanier Technical College in Oakwood in early childhood care and education.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Annie Banks of Gainesville, the late Harold Banks, Ann McDougald of Flowery Branch and the late Rev. John McDougald.

He is a 2001 graduate of West Hall High School in Oakwood.

The couple plans to wed Dec. 31, 2008, at Mulberry Baptist Church in Hoschton.
