She attended Johnson High School in Gainesville. She is employed as a paraprofessional with Challenged Child and Friends in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Snow Cooley of Cornelia.

He is a 2000 graduate of Habersham Central High School in Cornelia. He is self-employed.

The couple plan to wed April 3, 2010, in Flowery Branch.
