Mr. and Mrs. James S. Medlin of Cumming announce the engagement of their daughter Miss Mary Elizabeth Medlin to Mr. Jeffrey Lee Jager, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wolfgang Jager of Flowery Branch.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Nathan Hudson, the late Mr. Fred Otis Medlin and Mrs. Gennie Medlin of Wrightsville.

She is a 2001 graduate of Forsyth Central High School in Cumming. She graduated in 2006 from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro with a bachelor's degree in business education. She is employed as a business education teacher with Forsyth County Board of Education in Cumming.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Francis L. Kelsey of Flowery Branch.

He is a 1996 graduate of West Hall High School in Oakwood. He graduated in 2000 from Augusta State University in Augusta with a bachelor's degree in health and physical education. He received a master's degree from Walden University in educational leadership. He is employed as a graduation coach with Forsyth County Board of Education in Cumming.

The couple plans to wed June 21, 2008, at Cumming First United Methodist Church in Cumming.
