Tim and Pam Watson Maynard of Winder announce the engagement of their daughter Alicia Jordan Maynard to Jeffrey Mark Henson, son of Judy Magnus Henson of Gainesville and Lewis Henson of Oakwood. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of William and Syble Maynard and Lucy Watson, all of Winder, and the late Dean Watson.

She is a 2000 graduate of Winder-Barrow High School in Winder. She graduated in 2009 from Brenau University in Gainesville with a bachelor's degree in education.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Vester and Helen Magnus and the late T.J. and Sarah Henson.

He is a 2001 graduate of West Hall High School in Gainesville. He graduated in 2008 from the University of Georgia in Athens with a bachelor's degree in management and real estate. He is employed as a sales professional with CB Richard Ellis in Atlanta.

The couple plan to wed April 17, 2010, at Tucker Plantation in Colbert.
