Alan and Lori Shubert of Gainesville and Mark Lammers of Cleveland announce the engagement of their daughter Stephenie Michelle Lammers to Jacob Alan Coy, son of Ronnie and Michelle Sayne of Alto and Chris and Shelia Coy of Flowery Branch.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Norma McCown of Sedalia, Mo., and the late Merlyn McCown and Marilyn Lammers of Newton, Iowa, and the late Marvin Lammers.

She is a 2005 graduate of Chestatee High School in Gainesville. She is employed as an insurance coordinator at Sosebee and Britt Orthodontics in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Gale and Shirley Coy of Holt, Mich., and the late Jack and Olivia Davis.

He is a 2005 graduate of Gainesville High School in Gainesville. He is employed as a forklift operator by TAPP Lumber Company in Buford.

The couple plan to wed Nov. 2, 2013, at Martha Hope Cabin in Gainesville.
