Tim and Allison Kinzel of Flowery Branch announce the engagement of their daughter Erin Nicole Kinzel to Lee Thomas Hamilton Jr., son of Lee and Martha Hamilton of Buckner, Ky.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Morris and Cecil Norman, and J.D. and Joy Evans, all of Tampa, Fla., and the late Emerson Kinzel.

She is a 2001 graduate of West Hall High School in Oakwood. She graduated in 2005 from Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta with a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering. She is currently attending Georgia Institute of Technology and plans to graduate with a doctorate in bioengineering.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Barc and Linda Brown of Gilbertsville, Ky., Sue Mahon of Ft. Meyers, Fla., and the late Scott Hamilton.

He is a 2001 graduate of Oldham County High School in Buckner. He graduated in 2006 from Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He is employed as an engineer with Imaje in Kennesaw. He is a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity.

The couple plans to wed May 24, 2008, at Roswell United Methodist Church in Roswell.
