Bucky and Stacey Kennedy of Vidalia, formerly of Gainesville, announce the engagement of their daughter Hannah Lea Kennedy to Michael Christopher Parker, son of Mike Parker of Ponte Vedra, Fla., and Ken and Elizabeth Jones of Boulder, Colo.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Raymond and Hazel Dover of Gainesville, Mutt Kennedy of Midville, and Dot Trapnell of Vidalia.
She is a 2009 graduate of Vidalia High School in Vidalia. She graduated in 2013 from the University of Georgia in Athens with a degree in communications. She is employed as the marketing director at Chick-fil-A in Vidalia.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Sandy Parker of Ponte Vedra, Fla., and the late Larry Parker.
He is a 2010 graduate of University Christian School in Jacksonville, Fla. He plans to graduate in 2015 from Brewton Parker College in Mount Vernon with a degree in business.
The couple plan to wed Nov. 22, 2014, at First Baptist Church in Vidalia.
