Gary and Debbie Hinthorne of Braselton announce the engagement of their daughter Erin Taylor Keese to Maximilian Jennings Miller, son of Dan and Bobbie Miller of Lilburn.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Patricia Taylor Leonard and Harvey and Thea Keese, all of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and the late Joseph Bartus.

She is a 2002 graduate of Collins Hill High School in Suwanee. She attended Georgia State University in Atlanta. She is employed by THW Design in Atlanta.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Bernard and Virginia Pugar and the late Louis and Nathella Miller.

He is a graduate of Parkview High School in Lilburn. He graduated from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He is employed in travel related software technical sales with TRX Inc. in Atlanta.

The couple plan a beach wedding Oct. 16, 2008, in Key Largo, Fla.
