Trent and Vickie Jordan of Alto announce the engagement of their daughter Nina Reneé Jordan to Kevin Wayne Hewell, son of Wayne and Helen Hewell of Gillsville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Margaret Weeks of Alto and Talmadge and Joyce Jordan of Maysville.

She is a 2003 graduate of Banks County High School. She graduated in 2007 from North Georgia College & State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting. She is pursuing a master's degree from Brenau University in Gainesville. She is employed at Collins and Bull P.C.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Barbara Norton of Danielsville, Joe and Frankie Jones of Athens and the late C.W. and Janie Sue Hewell.

He is a 1999 graduate of Banks County High School. He is the owner of Excess Painting LLC.

The couple plans an open church wedding for 5 p.m. May 17, 2008, at Gillsville Baptist Church in Gillsville.
