Curtis and Wendy Hulsey of Cleveland announce the engagement of their daughter Erin Elise Hulsey to Christopher Ray Thomas, son of Lynn and Jodi Winkler of Helen and Jerry and Loretta Thomas Jr. of Cleveland.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Frank and Mildred Smith of Murrayville, the late Jeanette Oliver Smith, the late Telford Hulsey and the late Eunice Free Hulsey.

She is a 2007 graduate of White County High School in Cleveland. She graduated in 2011 from Gainesville State College with a degree in dental hygiene. She is employed as a dental technician at Bruce Jackson CDT in Alto.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Jerry and Pat Thomas of Cleveland, and Dale and Brenda Abernathy of Cleveland.

He is a 2007 graduate of White County High School in Cleveland. He is employed as a maintenance technician by White County Board of Education in Cleveland.

The couple plan to wed at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 29, 2011, at Babyland General in Cleveland.
