Kenneth and Andrea Hall of Merritt Island, Fla., announce the engagement of their daughter Jennifer Sue Hall to Carey Alan Bunch, son of Allen and Sallye Bunch of Bamberg, S.C.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Norma Jean Price of Roscommon, Mich., the late Cletus Elmer Price and Kenneth and Martha Sue Hall of Benton, Ky.

She is a 2001 graduate of Gainesville High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2005 from the University of Georgia in Athens with a bachelor's degree in family and consumer sciences. She received a master's degree at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C. She is employed as a occupational therapist in Spartanburg, S.C.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Marshall McGowen and Maudie Clinkscales of Bamberg and the late John "Candy" and Agnes Squires Bunch.

He is a 1997 graduate from Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School in Bambert. He graduated in 2005 from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., with a bachelor's degree in applied science and technology. He received two post-bachelorette certificates at Northwestern University in Chicago. He is employed as an orthotist/prosthetist in Chicago.

The couple plan to wed Oct. 17, 2009, at Mauldin United Methodist Church in Mauldin, S.C.
