Joe and Jo Gunn of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Allison Marie Gunn to William "Billy" Hall Napier, son of Bill and Pam Napier of Chatsworth.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Franklin and Patsy Woodall of Atlanta and Willie and Marty Gunn of Swainsboro.

She is a 1999 graduate of Gainesville High School. She graduated in 2003 from Furman University in Greenville, S.C., with a bachelor's degree in history. She is employed as an account executive with Erwin-Penland Inc. in Greenville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Edwina Napier of Celina, Tenn., the late Billy Napier, Barbara Hall of Chatsworth and the late Joe Hall.

He is a 1998 graduate of Murray County High School in Chatsworth. He graduated in 2003 from Furman University in Greenville with a bachelor's degree in health and exercise science. He is employed as a tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator with Clemson University in Clemson, S.C.

The couple plans to wed July 13, 2008, at Charles Ezra Memorial Chapel at Furman University in Greenville.
