George and Jacki Siques of Demorest announce the engagement of their daughter Amanda Nicole Garrison to Zachery Daniel Ivey, son of Brian and Carrie Stiles and Danny and Tammy Ivey, all of Gainesville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Harrison and Grace Hudson and the late O.A. and Leola Garrison.

She is a 2003 graduate of White County High School in Cleveland. She is employed as a nurse with North Georgia Diagnostic Clinic in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Dorothy and Norris Ivey, Eugene Beckstein of Gainesville and the late Marjorie Beckstein.

He is a 2001 graduate of West Hall High School in Gainesville. He is co-owner of Johnny's BBQ in Gainesville.

The couple plan to wed Oct. 3, 2009, at New Bridge Baptist Church in Gainesville.
