Phil and Happy Ferguson of Gillsville announce the engagement of their daughter Jennifer Nicole Ferguson to Craig Alan Roberts, son of Stanley and Annette Roberts of Wimauma, Fla.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Monte and Martha Trout of Gainesville and Jerry and Maurine Ferguson of Gillsville.

She is a 2003 graduate of East Hall High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2007 from the University of Georgia in Athens with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. She is pursuing a master's degree at Georgia State University in Atlanta in early childhood education. She is employed as a teacher with Gwinnett County Public Schools.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Morris and Elaine Rose, and Ethel Roberts, all of Delray Beach, Fla., and the late Bob Roberts.

He is a 2002 graduate of Lassiter High School in Marietta. He graduated in 2007 from the University of Georgia with a bachelor's degree in engineering. He is employed as an engineer with Jackson Electrical Membership Corp. in Buford.

The couple plans to wed July 12, 2008, at Warren Park in Savannah.
