Ronny and Kimberly Booth of Nashville, Tenn., and John and Nicole Duncan of Blairsville announce the engagement of their daughter Amy Daneé Duncan to Michael John Lovell, son of Rushell "Rusty" and Jan Lovell of Gainesville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Howard and Carol Leman of Sebring, Fla., and Fred and Sheila Dono of Hollywood, Fla.

She is a 2004 graduate of Piper High School in Sunrise, Fla. She is employed as a customer service manager with Publix Supermarkets in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of V.C. and JoAnn Lovell and John and Barbara Kidd, all of Gainesville. He is a 1999 graduate of Gainesville High School in Gainesville. He graduated in 2002 from Gainesville State College in Oakwood with an associate degree in political science. He received a bachelor's degree in 2005 from North Georgia College & State College in Dahlonega in business management. He is employed as a project manager with Conditioned Air Systems Inc. in Gainesville. He is vice president of the Gainesville Jaycees and a member of the Young Leaders Society.

The couple plan to wed Oct. 24, 2009, at Montaluce Winery in Dahlonega.
