Mark and Kim Duncan of Gillsville announce the engagement of their daughter Anna Maria Duncan to Blake Joseph Couch, son of Danny Couch of Gainesville and Julie Sellers of Flowery Branch.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Richard and Shirley Duncan of Gillsville, and Mary Lou Puckett and the late Robert Leo Puckett of Suwanee.

She is a 2010 graduate of East Hall High School in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Elizabeth and the late David Couch of Gainesville, and John and Juanita McLellen of Flowery Branch.

He is a 2009 graduate of East Hall High School in Gainesville. He is employed as a mineman and search and rescue swimmer by the U.S. Navy in San Diego, Calif.

The couple plan to wed May 26, 2012, at Panama City Beach in Panama City, Fla.
